Mobilizing the Progressive Vote

 Our New Site Launches Today!

Dear The McGlynn,

Today at approximately 10:00 AM EST, our new Website will go live! We’ve been loading content in the development site for the past few months and ironing out bugs in preparation for today’s launch. There’s a lot of content that still needs to be moved, so if you’re looking for something and can’t find it, click on the “archives” tab in the top toolbar. This will return you to our old site.

Content is organized differently on the new site. We have three main sections:

Get Informed holds the news sections and the blog
Get involved gives chapter and PDA-specific organizing information
Get Active provides information on what you can do to help build the progressive movement

Besides the brand new design, which is less cluttered and easier to navigate, you’ll find social networking links on all pages.

We’re still working on loading content so you will see changes to the new site over the coming weeks as we replace old and outdated content and materials with new content and materials. Additional features will become available in Phase II, which includes new state pages. The current state pages are placeholders.

As you familiarize yourself with the site, please let me know if you encounter any bugs or errors. Some links may not work as a result of transitioning, so please report those as well. In order for us to quickly solve the problem, please include the URL to the page where you find the error and a detailed description of the error.

It’s taken a lot of time and a big investment to get us to this point. If you like what you see, please consider becoming a ¢hange makes Change partner after 10:00 AM ET today!

Heartfelt thanks to Roberta McNair, Jill Morrison, Mike Hersh, Andrea Miller, Bryan Buchan, and the 720 Strategies team, who have been toiling behind the scenes to make our new site a reality.

I hope you are as happy and pleased with this new site as I am!
