Jewish Voice for Peace, Thank You

Jewish Voice for Peace
Jane, David and Sydney say thank you on behalf of all of us at Jewish Voice for Peace

Dear The McGlynn,

Thank you.

Because of you, and supporters like you, we’re growing—and we’re continuing our steady march towards a world where justice and peace aren’t just words and dreams, but a reality.

Here’s just a glimpse of what you have helped create in 2010:

  • Over 250,000 actions taken
  • 27 local chapters
  • 29 members of our new rabbinical council- Jewish leaders dedicated to speaking out on behalf of justice for all peoples in the Middle East
  • A total of 100,000 online supporters
  • At least 500 media mentions in television, radio, newspapers, and online media in the last three months alone, including outlets like the New York Times, NPR, CNN, AP, Ynet, and Ha’aretz

Every number represents a commitment to justice and human rights, a leap of faith, a willingness to stand by your beliefs in the face of powerful opposition—often within your own families and communities.

For all this, and for everything you do to bring about a world where everyone is treated with the same dignity and respect, where every child can grow up in a land that respects their humanity– all of us at JVP thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We know these are harsh times for people around the world, including many of you. That’s why it’s even more important that we thank you for being a light in the darkness. We are so very grateful for your support.

May the lights of Hanukkah shine brightly for you—now, and in the year to come.

Sydney Levy,
Jewish Voice for Peace
