IN THEIR BOOTS: SILENT PARTNERS

Brave New Foundation Demands Equality for All Americans- Joins National Equality March on Washington

Earlier this year we released an episode of our Iraq/Afghanistan veterans series In Their Boots that dealt head-on with discrimination.
We told the stories of the gay partners of the men and women who are in the line of fire serving our country and the shame/fear/secrecy they must endure because of our country’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy. On October 10th and 11th there will be a gathering in Washington DC in order to demand civil rights for the millions of men and women in this country who are gay.
Please join us in Washington at the National Equality March so that you or your sons and daughters can live in a country that allows us all to serve in the military, get married and grow up with a sense of pride.
