News and Analyses, A Foreign Perspective

The Foreign Press

English Online International Newspapers

Nearly all of these are English-edition daily newspapers. These sites have interesting editorials and essays, and many have links to other good news sources. We try to limit this list to those sites which are regularly updated, reliable, with a high percentage of “up” time.

Please don’t attempt to hijack the holocaust for a progressive agenda. Over 6 million Jewish people were imprisoned and murdered and this is their day to be remembered. Today’s “refugee’s” are fleeing their homelands instead of staying and working to improve them the way Europe and the US have done.

Today’s refugees are seeking refuge. From war. From genocide. Just as the Jews did. Remembering is important, and so is working to make sure history doesn’t repeat itself.
    – A Jew who is more than happy for Holocaust memorial to be used to avoid further mass murders.

Kristine to Danielle: The photo’s we are seeing of refugee’s are NOT children for tristine he most part. They are young males between the ages of 15 and 30. Children and elderly were put to death by the Nazi’s. Look at the demographics of today’s refugees. There is a huge difference.

Look at the demographics. Male and female Jews were murdered, old and young and in between. We have an infestation of young, male “refugees.”

“Infestation”? Regardless of age, gender, religion, country of origin, whatever else, these are human beings you’re talking about. They have just as much right to safety as we do.

Do you have sources for these demographics you mention? Where are they from? Can you trace them back to hard data? Are you sure the publishers don’t have any vested interests?

I take it Isobel hasn’t seen the videos of the European Muslims throwing stuff at trucks trying to steal from them and running amuck on the highways like its Iraq or something?? Isobel has a lot to learn…

Danielle Saunders You know which refugees were denied entry to the US? The passengers of the St Louis, among others. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_St._Louis

Do not pretend you honour the memories of the murdered Jews with one breath and repeat the arguments that led to their deaths with the next.

    MS St. Louis – Wikipedia
, the refugees were finally accepted in various European countries, and historians have estimated…

Maddi actually I have. I have also seen, first hand, much worse behaviour from British young men who do not have desperation as an excuse. And I have also seen plenty of footage of refugees starving, freezing, homeless, walking for days in the hope of finding somewhere to stay, and of refugees making significant positive impacts on communities which take them in.
You can’t sum up the world in one image or piece of footage, ever, and when the images that people say can do exactly that are ones which serve to divide us, we need to think about why these are the ones we’re being shown.

Stefan This has nothing to do with refugees.

Yesterday I was at Whistler Pride Celebrating its 25th year. I was fortunate to spend the day with some modern day refugees, two of whom were experiencing their first Pride Parade ever! The importance of their efforts and work really struck me today when I realized the yesterday was also Holocaust Memorial Day which commemorates a time when the world failed to reach out a hand and help–let us not do so again! Groups like the Rainbow Refugee Committee help those who reach out!
